14°CStage 1 of the Karingal Village Shopping Centre upgrade has now been successfully delivered, setting the foundation for the precinct’s revitalisation. The works have transformed key areas of the centre with upgraded services, new amenities, and reconfigured layouts, creating a modern and inviting environment for both retailers and the community.
Undertaken for our client, Nivad, the works included the transformation of existing tenancies into new and improved retail spaces, providing a refreshed environment that enhances the shopping experience for the Frankston community.
Completed under a Design & Construct agreement, Stage 1 involved a full upgrade of base building services, modernised fitouts, and structural adjustments to support a high-quality retail offering. The result is a refreshed retail environment designed to support local businesses and create a better experience for the community.
Stage 2 involves the construction of a purpose-built Early Learning Centre on behalf of our client, Nivad, further enhancing community infrastructure in Frankston.

Scope of Work
- Construction of striking new entry canopies, designed as key architectural features
- Installation of upgraded building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire protection)
- Reconfiguration of centre with new tenancy and kiosk layouts
- Delivery of cold shell spaces with new services for incoming retailers
- Construction of a new amenities block with toilets, parents’ room and accessible facilities
- Fitouts for selected tenants including Post Office, Pizza Shop, Nail Bar (still in progress)
- Construction of a new deck and pergola for the café
- Major public mall fitout featuring contemporary finishes, lighting, and design elements
- Upgrades to landscaping, external works, and centre signage
